cPanel MySQL Databases Interface

The MySQL Databases interface in your cPanel control panel lets you create, manage, and delete MySQL® databases and database users.

Please note that phpMyAdmin should not be used to create databases and database users as it does not map databases, causing problems with backups.

Accessing the MySQL Databases interface

Login to your cPanel control panel using your web browser. Go to 'http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel/' (without the quotation marks). So if your domain name is 'example.com' you should go to 'http://www.example.com/cpanel/' to login to your control panel. The MySQL Databases interface is in the "Databases" tab, simply click on the name or the icon to enter.
