Understanding MultiPHP INI Editor modes

MultiPHP INI Editor has two modes you can use depending on your level of expertise;
  • Basic Mode lets you configure directives by loading the values from the php.ini for your selected domain or home directory lets you make the changes through a graphical interface.
  • Editor Mode is for advanced users lets you configure directives with a text editor. The interface loads php.ini for your selected domain or home directory if it exists, otherwise loads a blank editor to create your own.

Things to keep in mind while using the MultiPHP INI Editor

  • For security reasons, we strongly recommend that you use Virgo Hosting provided directive values.
  • Some directives are only available in specific PHP versions, if a directive is not visible in the interface, this means your PHP version does not support it.
  • Editor mode is for advanced users and must be used with extreme caution. Errors while making changes in this mode could result in PHP scripts not functioning.
  • The following words can not be used as directives in editor mode: " null, yes, no, true, false, on, off, and none ".
  • The directives can not contain the following characters in editor mode: " ? { } | & ~ ! [ ( ) ^ " ".
