WHM Web Template Editor Interface

The Web Template Editor interface in your WHM control panel lets you create templates for visitors to see under the following conditions:
  • The account owner did not configure the site, or no owner exists for the site.
  • The domain points to an incorrect IP address.
  • The site moved.
  • A connection or firewall problem exists for the site.
  • The account owner suspended the site.

Please note that placeholder pages that you create only appear for the cPanel accounts' sites in your control.


Accessing the Web Template Editor interface

Login to your WHM control panel using your web browser. Go to 'http://www.yourdomain.com/whm/' (without the quotation marks). So if your domain name is 'example.com' you should go to 'http://www.example.com/whm/' to login to your control panel. The Web Template Editor interface is in the "Account Functions" tab, simply click on the name to enter.

Editing a web template

  • Select the tab for the template to edit.
  • Make the changes to the template and click "Preview" button to view the changes before you finish.
  • Click "Save" button.

Uploading a web template

  • Select the tab for the template to edit.
  • Click "Choose File" or "Browse" button under the "Upload Your Own Template" section.
  • Click "Upload Template" button.

In order to contact our support department, please follow these steps;
  1. Sign in to your client portal from the following URL: https://clientportal.virgohosting.com
  2. Click "Support" link in the menu to access the "Support Tickets" interface. If you're accessing the client portal from a mobile device, the menu may be accessible by clicking the "MENU" icon depending on your screen resolution.
  3. Click "Submit New Ticket" button.
  4. Choose the help desk you'd like to send your support ticket to from the "Help Desk" dropdown menu.
  5. Enter the support ticket subject and your message in the appropriate text boxes.
  6. Click "Submit" button. Our support staff will reply to your ticket as soon as possible
