WHM View Sent Summary Interface

The View Sent Summary interface in your WHM control panel lets you view the total number of email delivery attempts for each domain in your server. In this interface you can see the number of successful as well as failed attempts, and the total number of bytes that each domain sent.

Please note that data used in this section is retained for 30 days.


Accessing the View Sent Summary interface

Login to your WHM control panel using your web browser. Go to 'http://www.yourdomain.com/whm/' (without the quotation marks). So if your domain name is 'example.com' you should go to 'http://www.example.com/whm/' to login to your control panel. The View Sent Summary interface is in the "Email" tab, simply click on the name to enter.

Viewing information about emails sent

  • Select the date interval to search for using the "Start Date:" and "End Date:" menus.
  • Select the time interval to search for using the "Time Date:" and "End Time:" menus.
  • Click "Run Report" button.

Understanding the "Historical View" table results

  • "Domain" column shows the domain name of the user that sent the messages.
  • "User" column shows the username of the account that sent the messages.
  • "Successful" column shows the number of successful mail deliveries for the domain.
  • "Deferrals" column shows the number of deferred mail deliveries for the domain.
  • "Failiures" column shows the number of failed mail deliveries for the domain.
  • "Failed and Deferred" column shows the number of failed and deferred mail deliveries for the domain.
  • "Total Messages" column shows the total number of emails sent for the domain.
  • "Data Sent" column shows the total amount of data sent for the domain.

Understanding the "Current View" table results

  • "Relay per Hour" A green icon means that the domain is within the limit for relayed messages for the last hour. A red icon shows that the domain exceeded its limit.
  • "Defer+Fail per Hour" A green icon means that the domain is within the limit for deferred and failed messages for the last hour. A red icon shows that the domain exceeded its limit.
  • "Domain" column shows the domain name from which the emails originated.
  • "User" column shows the user who owns the account.
